Elevation Basements hit $4.6M in revenue after CGN built an organic lead pipeline that replaced Google Ads and drove a 51.8% close rate.
”We canceled all of our Google Ads… In January we’ve already received quite a few leads this month. I think we have like 16 or 17 leads this month, so it’s been pretty good.”

Co-Owner, Elevation Basements
Elevation Basements was newer to the Denver remodeling market, but they weren’t operating like it. Showroom, structured process, high-end finished spaces. The foundation was there. What they didn’t have was visibility. And without it, the right homeowners weren’t finding them.
Every lead came through $1,500/month in Google Ads. No organic traffic, no backup if the spending stopped.
Elevation Basements averaged page 3 on Google for basement remodeling searches across Denver metro.
Without a way to pre-qualify leads, Evan and Ed were meeting homeowners who weren’t a fit. Close rate: 29.4%.
Elevation Basements came to CGN as a new business that needed a website. We built it. What Evan and Ed noticed over the next year was that homeowners coming through that website were more serious, more qualified, and easier to close than anything paid ads were sending. They came back ready to do one thing. Get more of them. We built the organic lead pipeline to match the business Elevation Basements had grown into.
When we looked at the Denver metro basement finishing market, the competition was real. Established companies had years of online presence and strong search visibility. Elevation Basements had the better product and experience. They just needed to be found. We built a strategy to close that gap and own the market.
We had already built the website. Coming back, we focused on making it work harder. We added a transparent pricing calculator so homeowners could get accurate estimates before ever picking up the phone. That one addition changed the quality of every lead that came through.
We built Elevation Basements’ search presence around the terms Denver homeowners use when they’re ready to move forward. That meant ranking for high-intent terms across a competitive metro market and building visibility inside AI search tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
Each Featured Project Page walks through a real Elevation Basements remodel from start to finish. It shares the story behind the project, what the homeowners needed, how the team approached it, and how it all came together. Visitors can see the challenge, the solution, and the finished result in one place.
These pages help homeowners imagine what it is like to work with Evan and Ed. Every project story, gallery, and detail shows the same planning, craftsmanship, and client experience that Elevation Basements delivers in real life.

Homeowners researching basement finishing want to know what the process looks like before they reach out. The design page answers that. It walks through how Elevation Basements approaches every project, from the first on-site consultation to the design studio visit, so visitors arrive at the contact form with confidence instead of questions.
That clarity converts. Homeowners who understand the process before they call are easier to close and less likely to shop around.

Most homeowners researching basement finishing have no idea what it costs before they reach out. The pricing page changes that. Visitors can enter their basement size, select their features, and get an accurate estimate before ever picking up the phone. They can even download a PDF and bring it to the conversation.
Evan uses the calculator during discovery calls too. Instead of building estimates by hand, he pulls up the calculator in real time, walks the homeowner through the numbers, and sends the PDF before the call ends. That process helped Elevation Basements grow their close rate from 29.4% to 51.8%.

Elevation Basements serves the full Denver metro. We built dedicated location pages for every market they want to win. Aurora, Parker, Castle Rock, Arvada, and more. When a homeowner in any of those areas searches for basement finishing, Elevation Basements shows up as a local option, not just a Denver company that might travel.
We created content around the questions Denver homeowners ask when researching basement finishing. Cost breakdowns, design ideas, what to expect during the build. That content puts Elevation Basements in front of the right homeowners before they start comparing contractors. By fall 2025 it had become one of the biggest drivers of non-branded traffic to the site.
AI search tools like Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, and Perplexity are changing how homeowners find contractors. Instead of scrolling through a list of links, they get a direct recommendation. We built Elevation Basements’ online presence to show up in those answers by strengthening the signals AI tools use to evaluate credibility: reviews, authoritative content, and consistent visibility across the web.
When a Denver homeowner asks Google AI Mode to recommend a basement finishing company, Elevation Basements comes up first. Strong reviews and described as a specialist in custom gyms, home theaters, and wet bars serving the entire Denver metro. That kind of placement puts Elevation Basements in front of high-intent homeowners at the exact moment they are ready to reach out.
Every lead from Elevation Basements’ website flows automatically into their custom CGN portal. Evan and Ed can see exactly where each lead came from, whether organic search, referral, or direct traffic, and whether it was flagged as qualified. No guessing, no manual entry, no leads falling through the cracks.
Inside the portal, Evan marks each lead as won or lost and inputs the project value. That data tells the real story. In 2025, Elevation Basements closed 51.8% of qualified leads, up from 29.4% when CGN started. Average project value grew from $110k to $124k. The leads coming through organic search were more serious, better fit, and easier to close than anything paid ads had produced.
